Gore was founded in 1958 by Wilbert L. and Genevieve Gore in Delaware. It currently has offices in over 25 (twenty-five) countries around the world, one of them being in Flagstaff. The Flagstaff office is located at 3750 W Kiltlie Lane, Flagstaff, AZ 86005. Gore is a major employer in Flagstaff’s bioscience sector, and claims that it has helped increase the growth of medical-device jobs since the 1970s.
Some of the technologies and products Gore discovers and creates include medical devices and fabrics – both of which save lives. A material that is used in most of their creations is a polymer called polytetrafluoroethylene, or PTFE. Gore developed PTFE in 1958, and discovered expanded PTFE (ePTFE) in 1969. ePTFE has been used by Gore ever since!

Requirements for this position are a Bachelor of Science degree, three years of experience with market research projects, and knowledge of things such as project management methodology, maintaining good relationships with vendors, and experience with relevant software. It is preferred for applicants to have a Master’s degree.
